No answers...  Hmmmm...  Does that mean, "EA can't produce Firebird DDL," or does it mean, "You asked a really dumb question, RTFM"?

Wonderingly,

General Board / Firebird data modeling

I'm trying to use EA to construct a data model for a Firebird database.  If I understand correctly, support for Firebird 1.5 was added in build 748.  But when I create a table based on the Interbase driver, of course I don't see a few Firebird datatypes (date, time, etc).

I tried creating a new custom database for Firebird, but the DDL generated through that database driver wasn't in proper Firebird syntax.

I'm absolutely new to EA, so perhaps I'm missing something obvious here.  Should I try adding the additional Firebird datatypes to the Interbase definition, and use that?  Or, is there a way to shape the DDL that comes out of EA for a specific custom database?  I imagine the latter is hard to do.

Any help and hints would be much appreciated.  Thanks.
