I have a problem with switching on/off to rectangle notation.
In a action diagram with a matrix layout, I want to switch all elements to rectangle notation to check if the elements have the right tag.
These tags are quiet long (sentence of 4/5 words), so with the rectangle notation the shape of the elements increases. The problem is switching off the rectangle notation, because it doesn't decrease the element size (to its previous size) and it messes up my whole layout.

Is there some way to improve this.

Kind regards,

General Board / Re: Sequence diagram with Java Script
« on: May 21, 2014, 09:31:10 pm »
I'm using version 10.0.1000, but in my learning center I can't find these topics. The only topics I can see are:
-State Machine with Javascript 1;
-State Machine with Javascript 2;
-Activity with Javascript 1;
-Activity with Javascript 2;
and finally,
- Debugging Simulations.

So is it possible to find these topics somewhere else? or could you send me more information about this? Because I need it for sending commands from one objects state machine to another objects state machine and return attribute-values back from the other object.

And I can't find any information about this. Could you help me with this?

General Board / Sequence diagram with Java Script
« on: May 13, 2014, 05:05:31 pm »

During a research about using the simulation in behavior diagrams I discovered 3 topics in the learning center in simulation&prototyping video on the Sparx site. These topics are "Sequence diagram with Javascript 1, 2 & 3, in the dynamic simulation chapter under simulation. When I tried to find these topics in my Enterprise Architect it seems they aren't in the learning center.
Could someone help me, do I have to update my learning center in some way or could someone send me the information about these topics ?

Bugs and Issues / Link part attribute to assembly attribute
« on: November 19, 2013, 07:49:48 pm »

is it possible to link attribute/operation from a part to a higher level attribute/operation from an assembly (including the part)?

I know that it exists for a parent/child attributes/operations, but was wondering if there is already something for a part/assembly connection. So if I change an attribute in the part it automatically change the attribute in the assembly as well as the part.

Kind regards,

Uml Process / Triggers, type: change, tutorials ?
« on: May 08, 2014, 05:09:47 pm »

I want some more information about the change triggers. In the learning center especially the signal trigger is defined. But how does the change trigger work? in the Help topic the change trigger type is defined as:

Change - specifies that the event is a ChangeEvent, which indicates that the transition is the result of a change in value of an attribute

I would like to use it, but I don't have an example to learn how to use it. Could someone help me with it?

Automation Interface, Add-Ins and Tools / Guide for resolving Errors?
« on: February 20, 2014, 11:41:38 pm »

is there a guide to resolve errors?
I'm trying to connect an Interface dialog screen with buttons to simulation triggers. When starting the simulation I have one code line to open the Interface dialog screen:

dialog.Screen.Show = true;

but when executing the simulation, this screen doesn't appear and it gives the following error:

TypeError: $Root.Get("dialog.Screen") is null

is there a guide to resolve such sort of Errors. Or a sort instruction of how to couple such kind of GUI to a StateMachine simulation.

Kind regards,
