General Board / SQL Server Repository question
« on: June 02, 2009, 11:53:54 pm »
Newbie question here. I've been using EA Corporate edition for some time now, but we have just decided to use SQL Server as a repository for our projects. It appears that we need to create a new database for each project. Is that correct? That would seem to proliferate a lot of databases. It is also going to be a pain as our DBAs don't like the idea of everyone on the team being able to create databases. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how one might organize models to minimize database sprawl?

General Board / Synchronizing ASPX.VB files
« on: January 05, 2006, 01:39:01 pm »
I've a question for you EA gurus out there. I've been using EA for several months now and it has proven to be quite helpful to engineering my class files. However, I'm working on a ASP.net project using VB.net and can't seem to figure out how to synchronize the web pages for the app. I've tried associating the class with the .ASPX file and with the .ASPX.VB file and I can't seem to get EA to pull back in the info from the web page.

If I select the class in the EA model and click on the View Code option in the context menu. it opens the correct file. But if I click on the Synchronize with Code option. nothing happens. Any ideas as to what blindingly obvious step I'm missing?
