Automation Interface, Add-Ins and Tools / Lock Package with OSLC API

Hello All,

I am creating/updating Packages and Elements using the OSLC API which is working good after some learning phase.

But I did not find out an option to lock a package (single or incl. child packages).
Currently I keep the package locked all the time, but I dont like that solution.

Does anyone know the correct API call to lock objects? Maybe also where it  is documented?

I am using Database Builder to sync metadata from a DB to EA.
In EA I then use this objects to create nice Documentation of the DB.

Is there any way I can automate that "sync" of the Database Builder?
So far I did not find any hint how this could be possible.

I would be verry thankful for any hint in a right direction.
