General Board / RTF Template Generation - Level Content
« on: December 05, 2008, 03:36:13 am »

Is it normal that this donīt work!?

Please look here:

I have a projekt in the EA wich has this structure:

 - SubFolder1
    - UseCase
       - Item

The item is "child" of the UseCase. Every one of this "Folders" have a titel. How is it possiblie to give out the title in a list-order, like:

1. SubFolder1
1.1.  UseCase
1.1.1. Item

I triede this:

package >
1.   {Pkg.Name}
element >
  1.1.   {Element.Name}
child elements >
      1.1.1 {Element.Name}
< child elements
< element
child packages >
< child packages
< package

But it doesnīt work. It just show chinese symboles. So where is the mistake?
The 1.1.1 wouldnt be shown!

« on: November 27, 2008, 12:20:21 am »

Is their any literature about the "Insert Data Field" method? (menu --> Inster --> data field..)

Im looking for a way to include Data away from the packages. But maybe the method "data field" is usable for anything else - i dont know.
Who could help me?

General Board / RTF Documentation - to add a section more times
« on: November 10, 2008, 09:07:21 pm »

Iīm loking for a way to add a section more then only one time to the Content template.
Background of the idea is that I want to use the {Pkg.ParentPackage} Tag in the page header and in the page body. For this it is necassary to add the section "Package". But I couldnīt add it twice: in the page header and in the page body.

Iīm sure that their will be any way and thank you for your answers.

General Board / RTF:  Navigation through folders
« on: November 11, 2008, 08:05:11 pm »
Good Morning,.

How is it possible to navigate through the layers of folders and display the content of the folders in the RTF-Document?

Example of my structur:

  -  Folder 1
       -  Item 1
       -  Item 2
       -  Item 3
  -  Folder 2
       -  Item 1
       -  Item 2
       -  Item 3
  -  Folder 3
       -  Item 1
       -  Folder 3.1
            -  Item 3.1.1
            -  Item 3.1.2
            -  Item 3.1.3
       -  Item 2
       -  Item 3

How is it possible to display all the items?

If I start the RTF Generator for the Model it first should display the Items of the Folder 1 with the headline of Folder 1 and then in this way for the others.

Maybe this is to complicate for explaining in this forum. - So is there any literatur about this topic? In the User-Guid i couldnīt get information.
