General Board / last auto counter value
« on: January 21, 2010, 04:05:08 am »

Iím using EA 7.1 version.  i set up auto-name counters for requirements and features.
After working with it in one project i had to start a new project and import model from old project.
But, auto name counters in new project are not set (out of synch with the imported model).
Is there some way to automatically set or at least extract the last counter value for each element?

Thanks, Ohad

What is the meaning of a red triangle on top of any visual element (e.g., class, entity)?

Is it possible to display tagged value notes and parameter notes in a diagram?

Bugs and Issues / javadoc documentation
« on: May 01, 2009, 12:01:00 am »

I imported java source code to a model.  The java source code contains javadoc for classes, operations etc.  The documentation of the operations is not identical to its javadoc counterpart.
javadoc for example:
     * Describes a scoping entity supported by the service.
     * @param seId
     *            Scoping entity identifier.
     * @return The description of the scoping entity.
     * @throws UnrecognizedEntityException
     *             The scoping entity is not recognized by the service.
     * @see ScopingEntityDO

Model operation documentation:
Describes a scoping entity supported by the service.
@return The description of the scoping entity.
@see ScopingEntityDO

The operation's @throws and @param javadoc is missing from the documentation in the model.

Is there a way to resolve it?

Thanks, Ohad

Uml Process / view stereotype in diagram
« on: May 14, 2006, 01:14:50 am »

Using the EA case tool, I have placed several actors in a class diagram of a certain domain model. Each actor was assigned with a stereotype but there is no indicaiton for the actor's stereotype in the diagram itself only in the project view browser.

How can the actor's stereotype be visible in the diagram too?

Thanks, Ohad
