It seems to me, after quick glance at the release notes, that most of what is added to v16.1 are fixes and functionality already present in v17.

Wouldn't be the firsttime I'm wrong, though

Im running EA on a Mac M1 using Windows 11 ARM on Parallels 19, and it works like a charm. Not the same as your question, but close, so I assume it will work.

I can second Geert's reply. I mainly work in EA 15.2 with a direct database connection, and I hardly ever have any EA crashes. It is very stable both at the office and from home via VPN.

Have you tried to connect directly to the database to see if you get the same results?

I did it ‘the other way round’. Kept the EA 16 folder name and changed the install folder name when installing EA 17.

Will try to rename the existing EA 16 folder before trying again.

Seem to recall it is possible to have multiple installations if you install in different folders.

Will do some more investigation.

Tried to install EA 17 Beta on a different folder, as I have done before when having multiple versions installed, but it still removed my EA 16 installation.

What did I do wrong?

As the Subject says  . Couldn't find anything when searching the forum.

In short, I need to find the the elements a certain diagram is linked to in order to clean-up an EA model.

Just an additional thought, the only thing I can think of is that I pressed Ok without changing anything on the 1st dialog, ended up with 2 packages with the same name and version number, and lost track of which one was the original one.

I did the same thing first time I tried. At least a warning from EA would be nice.
