Hi Guys,
I have just DL-ed version 10.0 (before that I worked on 9.3.33

well, my question is: why did you make so complicated adding attributes in tables / classes ?
in version before (9.3) it was just right click mouse on the table / class, and then select attributes.
Now, I should : right click on table, then select "Features and properties" and then click on the Attributes ?????????????

I don't know for others, but for me, is really annyoing !

is there any way to put back attributes to be on the first pop up menu ?

second issue: application crashed xy times when I put in the form name something longer than 40 char. Or if I put as a form name "Process K.20.22.4543.
it crashes.

Previous version didn't.

Suggestions and Requests / Re: Which version to buy ?
« on: November 01, 2009, 11:25:22 am »
Hi Günther,

Thank you for your answer. Still not so clear which one version to buy : Professional or Corporate.

I think that Corporate will suit better.

on the page you sent, appears that professional version has more features than Corporate ?

Though, I expect that Corporate version includes all features of Professional version + some extra featues ?

Regards,
Zoran

Suggestions and Requests / Which version to buy ?
« on: November 01, 2009, 12:18:59 am »
Hello guys,

I am working with Enterprise Architect (Professional Edition) still 3 years. Pretty good software tool.

On my new project, one task is to teach my client's software engineers, what is UML,  and how to work with. I held my lessons of UML, by using Enterprise Architect.

People was very satisfied with and they want to work with EA, i.e. they want to buy it.

Well, the Project team will consist of 9 people, who will work on their part of Project.

my question is: which edition of Enterprise Architect to suggest them to buy, in order to allow 9 people to work together on 1 project ?

with best regards ,
Zoran

General Board / Installation Instructions - need explanation
« on: December 20, 2012, 12:44:19 am »
Hi 2 all
I have version 9.3. This morning I have DL-ed version 10.0
Then, I visited instruction for Installations, and I saw this

" .... If you have installed the evaluation edition of Enterprise Architect, uninstall it through 'Add/Remove Programs' in the Control Panel.
After downloading easetupfull.exe, double-click on it and follow the prompts to install the registered version of Enterprise Architect. "

OK, it is if I use evaulation version, but since I already use registered version, what is then Installation procedure ?
I think you should put it on the web site too.

Pavlovic

General Board / Re: EA slows down after installing Navigator
« on: October 29, 2012, 05:17:53 am »
Thank you q.

I did it .. remove, and now EA works fast again. Maybe it's not up to module, maybe it's up to my computer, but that modul did slow down my EA a lot.

please tell me, how can I un-install Navigator ?

thanks in advance

General Board / Re: Revert tables into classes

Excellent ! ..many thanks Geert.

the only problem is, that any attribut ,which I drag-drop from table into a class is public (+) but should be private (-)

anyhow .. it is not so big problem as copy-paste hundred of fields I did up to now.

regards and thanks once again

General Board / Revert tables into classes
« on: October 11, 2012, 09:56:09 pm »
Hi 2 All,

I don't know is it possible:

doing reverse engineering, I made tables, and now have to go back to create classes. The problem is, that some of the tables have 20-30 fields, and it is really touhg job, copy - paste fields (not all, but still much) into classes.

is there any automation, that I can revert Table object, into a class ?

thanks in advance

« on: December 17, 2009, 10:10:58 am »
Great, it works. Except ... the software doesn't add the copied element in the Project browser in the form elements, but adds it one level up. Then I have to pick up new element, and drow on form. But anyhow, still much easier, then to create new ones
