Import an MDG Technology is a different function from importing an XMI.

To import an MDG technology, select the following from the ribbon.

Specialize > Technologies > Publish > Import UML Technology.

General Board / Re: Sparx EA V14 B 1419 Installation issue

We suspect that the Windows Defender controlled access is preventing the installer from adding the shortcut to the desktop. Unfortunately, our test environment using the same Windows build is allowing the install to complete despite getting the notification about svchost changes being blocked.

What edition of Windows 10 are you using?
What folders are protected by the Windows Defender Controlled Folder Access setting?
Could you run the install with full logging and send the log in? An alternative would be running sysinternals procmon and sending in the log it records.

Baselines with the 'BaselineOf=' setting have been moved aside during XMI export. The only reason they should still be around is the EA crashed or was killed during an import.

The find in project browser command was removed.

My experience is that because it relies on the items being added to the tree the performance is usually unacceptable on a non-trivial model, that and I tend to know if I'm searching for a diagram, element, attribute or operation in advance.

The zoom on the status bar is a personal zoom level that applies to all diagrams.

The zoom on the Pan & Zoom and Ctrl+mouse wheel allow you to temporarily zoom on the current diagram.

Sparx Systems new Pro Cloud Server Express comes free of charge for customers who have current licenses of Enterprise Architect, providing entry level access to the features of the Pro Cloud Server and WebEA.

For registered users of Enterprise Architect Corporate (and above) with more than 5 current licenses, Sparx Systems will provide a license of Pro Cloud Server Express with WebEA.

Details:

• The OSLC interface will have minor limitations vs. the full Pro Cloud Server
• Maximum of 25 WebEA users per server
• Offer is valid on a per company basis
• Your licenses of Enterprise Architect must be current
• The Pro Cloud Server Express licenses will match the Enterprise Architect license expiry date
• The Pro Cloud Server Express licenses increment in sets of 5
