Hi

I was able to successfully export to VISIO.

But i encountered error when i tried to save the Sub processes or Business Process.

Say for eg. I have an Employer Management Module which has high level diagram of EMP 00...i was able to save that as SVG image.

this EMP 00 has other high level processes as EMP 10 EMP 20, so when i try to save these as SVG it gives me an error "SVG export failed. Log file generated instead".

What could be the reason for this? and how to deal with it?

@Geert - This is what I received from the DB admin about the Server Configuration:

              DiskSpace 8.2G (2.9G Used)
              CPU Information 1 CPU E5502
              RAM: 1GB

Do you think this is optimum?

I have setup EA repository with multiple projects.
Just want to know what Sparxsystem recommends the MySQL server configuration should be in terms of memory, power, storage etc for optimum performance.

Hi

I have a EA repository created with MySQL server.

when i open the repository through EA, it gets connected to the repository (which i know with the name that comes on the top of the EA screen), but the cursor goes round and round around the Open Project dialog box...
what could be the reason behind it?

Need to know the resolution ASAP, plzzz

We know that there is a way to export the Relationship Matrix in CSV format.

Say suppose i have a Relationship matrix (for e.g. of Activities to Functional Requirements) in that format, can I import that in EA? If so, then how?

Is there any way that I can create traceability between process models?

Say for eg i hv a Business Process model and a BPEL model...how can I create a traceability between an activity in the BPM model to its corresponding BPEL model?

This means that the very first time project transfer you can use using this...but when if you need to add on to your repository then you cannot use this as it will wipe of your other data. Instead you need to use Import/Export XMI functionality.
