Bugs and Issues / Re: WebEA: Diagrams not updating on element change
« on: August 09, 2018, 07:45:18 pm »
As you know this won't be considered as a diagram change and hence the images wont be reloaded automatically, you might have to use the manual reload from the viewer to achieve that.

I doubt if the tagged values for which you have set some value (other than default) will be removed, it will only be moved from the MDG profile to normal tags.

Whilst Synchprofile will add, for removing any applied tags, a script must be used.

This is a registry setting MDG_TECHNOLOGY_STATUS under [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Sparx Systems\EA400\EA\OPTIONS],
you can package a .reg file along with the EA installer.

Looks like this is a issue with 2.1.20 Worker, Might have to report to Support

This could be due to EA Version in the app server

Try Refering to section 7.3 Sparx Enterprise Architect and Pro Cloud Server Compatibility Report

Bugs and Issues / Re: [EA12] Model Document Name in report

Ah, I missed that. I don't see a way to do that at the moment other than using a Document Script to iterate thorugh the model documents,

Maybe a feature request?

Have you tried using the 'Report Name', 'Report Title'  fields of 'Model Document' element? You can insert these fields from Report Constants

General Board / Re: Connection not UML compliant (MDG - EA14)

Haven't tested this, but there has been a number of reports related to 'strict connector syntax'  causing this issue. Try turning off strict connector syntax in preferences.

Glad it finally worked for all those efforts.  Yes, I did notice the item with the stereotype, the name and connectors were visible without any additional processing.

General Board / Re: Problem with Association in Matrix
« on: July 24, 2018, 01:42:53 pm »
Are you creating and association connector or association class?  Are you trying to visualize Association connector in relationship matrix?
are you using the UML association or one of the extended associations (ArchiMate, etc)? in the relationship matrix?

Makes more sense, for any slightly complex reports, i've always found the 'document script' fragments to be incredibly useful and flexible.

You can also use the Custom script fragment to achieve this.

The reporter generally skips the template if there is no resultset.

Are you saying your fragment is called for an object, for which your fragment returns NULL, but still you get a blank row?

If you are after specific details (for e.g. Attributes / Operations / Connectors) placing your fragment call within the subsection will avoid calling the fragment.

I suspect it is a compatibility issue.

Everything else being same, I suspect its something to do with the latest version of EA and its compatibility with Excel Import.

If you have the older installer, can you try installing that too ( you can install two versions of EA, by changing the installation folder name before installing the second one).

PS -I still use EA 13.1

Bugs and Issues / Re: Generate Documentation - Images too small
« on: July 20, 2018, 09:16:13 pm »
You might have to enable page border and check if the diagram fits fill size in the A4 page. EA would only render the actual size (relative to page), so if you make it fully scaled in the diagram, you must be seeing a bigger image
