Adding a package import connector did the trick!
My suggestion for Sparx would be to add this info to the help page about using objects in simulations.

Simon, thank you much for the clarification!

I have the same problem with simulation.
The class that is used in CreateObject("ClassName") must be in the same or under the package of the simulated diagram. Classes in the same model as the diagram can't be used if the're not under the diagram.
Please see this picture illustrating the problem:!ApKWkMQR4BolgaMmldJeWLMRCGd7sg
Using an xmi export/import as Simon suggests does not work, results in 'already existing class'  in the model.
Using a dependency to the class also doesn't work.

Any help or work around is much appreciated.

Bugs and Issues / Re: Access denied on viewing html report under win

Thanks for your answer.
Things have changed apparently. I was aware of the restrictions of running active-X, and set the corresponding IE setting, without the expected result. For IE 11 running on windows 8 your table no longer seems to be actual.
However I was able to get a work around by following the solution of MarcioMonego by creating a virtual folder in IIS.

The reason why IE doesn't prompt for axtive x remains obscure.

Bugs and Issues / Access denied on viewing html report under win8

When trying to view an exported html report under windows8 IE shows a popup: access denied.
Already tried permissions on generated files (full control) and IE security settings (running active content allowed).
Any suggestions very much appreciated.
