It looks like the entries are in t_xref. Also the elements in question have t_object.style set to Locked=true/false;. The whole mechanism is not clear to me and it's not that easy to find out how it's encoded. Maybe some Sparxian can bring light into this.

As said: this is long ago knowledge. But those times it was all manual work. Means that conjugate was local to each port and did not know about the other side.

My SysML days lie back in the dark past but IIRC you need to set a tagged value for each port.

There is no way of suppressing this error. If you can reproduce this you should contact Sparx support as it indicates an error in the API.

It seems they forgot that in the API and you're the unlucky guy finding out (or needing) that first. As Geert said: Feature request.

In the mean time you can look into t_taggedvalue. The memo is stored like
Code: [Select]
<memo>$ea_notes=hello;
in the Notes column. The part before $ea_notes is the value displayed  and the part after is the memo ( :-X about that format). Make sure the column Notes in t_taggedvalue is capable of storing more than 256 chars. Else you'r be doomed anyway.

P.S. Just verified that Notes can hold more than 256 chars.

Simply put the text "<memo>"  in the value of the TV. Then EA will use the Notes.

I guess you're out of luck here. You can use advanced/rectangle notation if it's available. But that will turn of stereotype display. Archimate uses shape script and you must either adopt that shape scripts (which is possible but difficult) or you turn them completely off.

The DOORS MDG is a one way DOORS -> EA.

Elements can inherit tagged values. Create two classes and assign a TV to either. Then draw a generalization between both. You'll see the inherited TVs afterwards.

-1 means it's the default. Those values are stored in the registry. You need to export/change/export 2nd/compare to find out which one is the relevant.

This is really too long ago but you should create a simple empty model where you can verify it. Check what t_xref contains once you created a FK manually. Most likely this will contain the missing link.

I had a short peek into t_objectscenarios. The scenarios are stored in XMLContent and the level attribute contains the step. So feel free to use the good old SQLQuery and put on the heating for your XML parser.

Did you ask that on SO too? See the %appdata%\...sparx...\paths.txt

You need to write a shape script with a decoration pattern for each of them.

Move one of the elements manually and the TPos should be set "as seen" by EA.
