Select multiple connectors to e.g. change the line style for all of the selected connectors.

On the moment, one can only select one connector at a time, so e.g. changing the connector routing style on an existing diagram can be very time consuming.

Suggestions and Requests / Search in "Set Visible Relations"

In Diagram > Advanced > Set Visible Relations: ability to search for relationship names and/or types.

Finding a relationship to change its visibility setting can be challenging when there are many of them on one diagram. Searching would make life easier.

In Diagram > Advanced > Set Visible Relations: ability to make multiple selections using e.g. SHIFT click.

Clicking relationship visibility settings one by one is very exhaustive.

Suggestions and Requests / Background color for Archimate grouping

An archimate grouping is currently an Archimate relationship that allows for limited customisation (font color for one).

Having seen diagrams with color background groupings in articles, I suppose it would be helpful to change them in EA too to e.g. enhance the visibility.

Setting the requirement Type using Settings > Project Types > General Types > Requirement limits the user to 12 characters for the requirement type field.

If one wants to include categories such as "compatibility" or "maintainability", the requirement type field limit of 12 characters is insufficient.

Extend the number of allowed characters in the Requirement Type field by e.g. 18 characters. A total of 20 characters may be sufficient.

Add a "Restore Defaults" button in the Requirement tab as well, as adding the default types back again manually is very cumbersome.

A Project Author is a resource who works on an EA project (file).

All other resources work outside of EA, therefore may not need authentication with e.g. a connection to AD.

If a user wants to enable Project Security, it is logical to conclude that the Project Author(s) need secure access to an EA project.

In other words, one should be able to select from a list of Project Author(s) in the Project > Security > Manage Users men,u and assign them a password and username.

The user should be able to change "global" preferences/properties per EA project.

At present, certain properties can only be set per diagram. If one has to change all diagrams in a project to e.g. a common style, one has to change the properties per diagram, one at a time.

It should be possible to change certain properties e.g. per project, similar to the "properties" context menu in a workspace :
- general
- diagram
- features
- connectors


Moreover, it should be possible to 'override' the project properties per diagram.

In a List View, double-clicking an end-of-column edge should auto-resize the column, fitting the largest text in the column.

Now, I have to drag each column to fit the content.

"Undo Close" tab in the Workspace similar to Firefox's "Undo Close Tab" context menu in its tabs.

The problem is: when multiple tabs have been opened and one is accidentally closed, it's hard to find which one was closed and how the tab was opened in the first place.

It should be possible to undo the closure of a tab through a context menu which opens by e.g. right clicking on any of the open tabs in the Workspace.

Improve resolution of large menu icons

The user can customize the size of the menu icons in the Tools > Customize > Options. The large icons have a low resolution however.

General Board / Element properties name: forced line break?

Is it possible to create a forced line break in the element properties name? For example by typing Alt-Enter to create a new line as in MS Excel.

I would like to make a consistent and clear distinction between the first, second and third line.

Indeed, it was a bookmark and I was able to remove it by clicking SHIFT + SPACE.

I must have touched the keys by accident when moving some elements.
