General Board / Why no link Project Aurthor(s) and Security?

Maybe this is a newby question about EA 10 Corp.:

Today, I tried to set up Project Security for the first time. All went well, but I found the function Project > Security > Manage Users utterly confusing and cumbersome.

First, I set all my EA Project Authors through: Settings > Project Types > People.

To my knowledge, a Project Author is a resource who works on an EA project (file). All the other resources work outside of EA and may not need any connection to e.g. AD.

So if I want to enable Project Security, isn't it logical to conclude that I want to give access to my Project Author(s)?

In other words, why can't I select from a list of Project Author(s) in the Project > Security > Manage Users menu and assign them a password and username?

General Board / How to select multiple connectors?

Have been trying this for a while now: select multiple connectors and change the line style for all of the selected connectors.

On the moment, I can only select one connector at a time, so changing the connector routing style on an existing diagram can be very time consuming.

Any suggestions on how I can select multiple connectors?

Bugs and Issues / Zachman Framework: Cannot create XML Document

There has been an issue in EA version 11 with the Zachman Framework MDG.

In EA 12 the error is more specific:
Zachman Framework:
Cannot create XML Document

How can this be fixed?

Bugs and Issues / MDH Togaf v3: issue with MS Jet engine

Just installed the latest version of the Togaf MDG extension (version 3) in the latest version of EA version 11.1.

Unfortunately, I still experience an issue with the installed MDG extension. The TOGAF extension menu is empty. When I go to the MDG extension folder to open the TOGAF example project, I get this error message:

An error Occurred: The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot open the file <c:\location ect>. It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view its data.

However the Togaf example project can be opened when I start EA as an Administrator. Once the file is opened, the extension is no longer empty.

Is there a solution to properly install the Togaf extension?

The previous version also had its issues..

Bugs and Issues / System Output: Duplicate profile name: ZF warning

After the recent upgrade to EA 11, the new system output gives me a message:

WARNING: Duplicate profile name: ZF, detected in technology ID: ZF      

This seems to be related to the Zachman Framework extension.

How can this be resolved so I will not see the warning again?
