Try 'Export Alternate Images' checkbox in the XML Specifications group of the Options dialog.
(from Main menu, Tools | Options | XML Specifications | check Export Alternate Images checkbox, then export model as XMI)

Do you need shapes in the below webpage?
(sorry in Japanese only)

I have made these shapes and offer for Japanese EA users.
I defined them by EA's script, without using EMF image.

You need to use System Engineering edition or Ultimate edition to use these SysML features. On other editions, the SysML menus are hidden.

We have released new product Add-in 'EA Connector for Trac' and 'EA Connector for Redmine'.

These Add-ins support to synchronize EA objects with tickets of Trac or Redmine.

EA Connector for Trac

EA Connector for Redmine

You can download a Trial version. We also offer Trac or Redmine server for trial.

You need the following two actions to enable the Add-in.

1. register DLL by using regasm.exe
(I do not know whether CrossOver supports .NET framework. regasm.exe is one of .NET 2.0 commands.)

2. add registry key 'ShowDiagramPrj.ShowDiagram' as the default value of HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Sparx Systems\EAAddins\ShowDiagram.

I have created an Add-in which you can open diagram image as a new window.

If you want to refer existing diagrams when you are modeling, you can refer the diagrams by using this Add-in.
(You may need to resize EA window to show all windows.)

If you are interested in this Add-in, download, unzip and run the bat file in the file. Open a diagram and call the Add-in from Add-in menu.
(updated above URL on 9th Dec, 2009)

(You need .NET runtime 2.0 to use this Add-in.)

Maybe the following code will solve your issue.

After Package.Update(),

Element = Package.Element
Element.StereoType = "PackageUC"
Element.StereoTypeEx = "PackageUC"

Hope this helps.

Please try to change the Z-order of each object in the diagram as you want. Maybe the order is the same as Z-order of objects in a diagram.

Please try to use the 'ValueOf' item. You can specify the target Tagged Value when using this item.

Try the latest build, maybe it will solve this issue.

Hope this helps.

For your information, you can get (and maybe update) the value by:

Hope this helps,

You need to call File.Update() method.

For example,

file = element.Files.AddNew(strURL, "Web Address");

Hope this helps.

Hi cerevro,

If I remember correctly, all Express Editions do not support the Add-ins feature.

Hope this helps,

Maybe now it is not problem of RaQuest but of EA API.

If I understand correctly. Element.Elements collection
is children elements.

Hello Uwe Fechner,

User-defined values are stored as Tagged-Value of EA.
You can access them using COM-Interface.

(Please notice that some internal values are also stored
as Tagged-Values. Please do not modify these RaQuest internal values.)
