TeX ? Latex ?
Knuth would be spinning in his retirement-home chair !

LATEX surely.

You could always do a CSV export from Doors in the first place ...

I can see where the confusion arises - the spec for MDG link for Doors states, "Direct import of DOORS® modules into EA" which might imply that Doors itself was not needed for importing.

Rather misleading - should say "Indirect import (via Doors)" ?!

Sorry for my ignorance - I haven't updated my EA version since I stopped doing UML full-time :(

In other words, your tool will need to talk COM/OLE.

There are probably some good examples in Perl or VB that you could translate to Java (given COM/OLE !) if you search the forum over the last few years (use 9999 days).

Beware of publishing your email addresses on forum pages - use forum messaging for this if poss, to avoid your email address getting spammed.

You can 'Modify' your last posting to remove the address if you want to.

I didn't think A4 was peculiarly Australian ... in the way that Letter is peculiarly North American !!

to PS - yes, but you're probably too south-coastal, judging by your name !

"Use search to find out about this"

Well, some people don't think of searching the forum, they think if it's not in the application's own Help, there's nothing.

Also, I'm sure I can remember seeing forum posts about this subject in the past, so I reckon there should be something relevant
just did a search on "merge namespace root package",set oldest post to 9999 days and found a couple of posts which maybe reflect the same problem - you surely found them yourself in your original search ? (Rather than finding 'nothing')

So how was Paolo to know that these posts didn't address your issue ?

You know this anyway ! Hopefully someone else will post something more helpful.

Go back to your old version and see if it's still OK. If not, you have some other issue that needs correcting.
Otherwise, reinstall the new version - if problem persists, return to old version and wait for Sparx to fix it ...

These database fields are not documented
Hmm, useful !!

No, the alternative would be to use positive values for 'sensible' directions ! ;-)
