New Automation Interface
« on: August 08, 2002, 06:07:44 am »
Hello all,

Just an update to let you know the latest build of EA - 501 - has been released - and its major feature is the inclusion of a new read/write automation interface. This is a much more detailed interface than the previous one (which is still there of course) and provides a lot more potential for scripting the inner data structures of EA.

There is an online reference to this new interface at:  www.sparxsystems.com.au/userdocs/AutoInterface/index.htm

Documentation for the new interface is also included in the new EA setup as a PDF document accessible from the EA Program Group in the Windows Start Menu.

Registered users can also download XMI for the model from which the above documents were generated. Check the registered user section for this link. A zip file containing the HTML docs is also available there.

Please let us know if you strike any problems or have suggestions on how to enhance this feature in the future.

Regards,
Geoff Sparks
