Who owns connectors?
« on: October 14, 2004, 11:21:48 pm »
Hi!

As connectors don't show up in the project view, it is not obvious where they live.
I wonder  where the information about a connector between elements in two different controlled packages is stored.

Hi,

not sure what exactly do you mean, but technically the connectors are stored in table t_connector.
Is that what you meant?

Hi!

I assume that connectors (entries in t_connector) between elements in a controlled package are stored in the xml (XMI) file, but how about those that connect elements belonging to different controlled packages?
Are they "serialized" to both? What happens if they no longer match when reading in the two packages?

Please tell me if this is the right forum to discuss this issue.
