Hiding all the note elements

I have some activity diagrams, which I've built up from someone else's written process description. My diagram has lots of notes elements on which I record my own questions about the process.

Is there a way of hiding all of these note elements so that I can export the diagrams both with and without my questions overlaid?

You could do that through the Automation-Interface. I don't think EA has such a feature built in.

You would need to copy the diagram.  (See http://sparxsystems.com.au/EAUserGuide/index.html?duplicateadiagram.htm).

After you've done this you can select all notes on one diagram (Edit | Select By Type) and delete them.
