Stereotype Icons

In the Sample models there are components what have stereotypes that include indicative icons (a workstation, a web page, etc), how do you define these for yourself for use in your own models.

They must be a customization of the examples as the underlying stereotypes are not available in normal models.

Search the help for "shape script". There are also examples that should give you a start.

Extending a bit on that: apart from the shape in a diagram you can also alter the icon of the stereotype in the toolbox & project browser  by defining the 'icon' attribute for a stereotype.

this information is new to me. COuld you give me some reference in the manual or a more detailed description?

Search in the help file on 'Special Attributes' and open the first entry.
The icon attribute is described there.

It mentions that the icon is used in the project browser but if memory serves me right it is also used for the toolbox. Let me know if you run into trouble => then i'll look a bit further into the profile definition i created earlier.

Just to be clear: this only works for MDG created stereotypes, not via the Settings/UML Types... menu.
