I'd like to move Enterprise Architect from one machine to another. Will the following process work, or will it cause problems?
  • Remove Key from machine 1
  • Add Key to machine 2

IIRC, the license is per-user, not per-machine. So you are free to install the same license key on multiple machines as long as it's the same person using it. However, I don't think you're allowed to move the license to a different machine for a different person to use.

But please check the license terms yourself. I may be wrong.

My theories are always correct, just apply them to the right reality.

Hello all,

The license of Enterprise Architect is not 'per-user'. Basically a user can install and use on only one machine. And if the machine is not used by others, the user can install Enterprise Architect to another one machine and can use one of two machines exclusively.

So, maximum number of machines to be able to install is two.
