Restricted access for User

Hi there,

I have a little problem.

I have MySQL repository and Enabled Security. I wonder if there is any possibility that some users can see or have access to one model and other Users have access to differernt model -> based on the same database (one MySQL schema). Example:

1. User1 have access to this node:


2. User2 have access to this node:


3. User3 have access to both

If you have both root nodes in the same repository then there is no way to restrict read-access to any parts.

If you need that you'll need to work with separate repositories.

For write access you could work with group locks, or connect the model to an external version control system, and manage the access rights in the VC system.

You can restrict editing access in this way (as we have done), BUT you can't restrict read access.

We have the same need.  In a corporate repository, you need some secure private access.
