call behavior simulation through folders
« on: January 26, 2017, 03:22:04 am »
Hello!

* I have a folder called "A_folder" with a class diagram, containing a class, which contains an activity diagram with an action called "A_action".
* I have a folder called "B_folder" with a class diagram, containing a class, which contains an activity diagram called "B_activity".
* A_folder and B_Folder are on the same level.
* I call from "A_action" behavior "B_activity". When I'm simulating the activity diagram which contains "A_action", the simulation runs, but not "enters" to the called behavior.
* If I do the same, but the two classes are in the same folder, then the simulation runs the corresponding behavior.

Is it a bug, or a restriction by the system?

Thanks for your further answer!

The simulation works based on packages.

In similar functions you can use a package import to specify that you also want that package included in the simulation. I'm not 100% sure it has been implemented in this context.

Thanks, it helped!

I created a class diagram at top level, where the calling action's diagram's package importing the caller behaviour's package.
When I'm simulating the calling diagram, the sim enters to the imported behaviour diagrams as well. :)
