Eclipse integration?
« on: January 08, 2012, 10:58:36 am »

edit: uh... nevermind the part about use cases (so to speak) .  I found the video demo.   The integration is not working, though.

I've installed the trial MDG Eclipse integration plugin, but .. I can't find any documentation, tuts, or other presentations to indicate what it can do, and how to do it.  The menu appears in my eclipse instance but reports "unavailable".

I've not done any real round-trip modelling, so perhaps I'm missing some contextual concepts; all I've really done is reverse-engineer Python code so far.

Help?  :)

Can you please confirm whether you are running the 32-bit or 64-bit version of Eclipse?  MDG Integration is not compatible with the 64-bit version of Eclipse and is a known cause of the "The chosen operation is not currently available" error message.

If you are using the 64-bit version of Eclipse - please download and install the 32-bit version of Eclipse, then re-install MDG Integration.  Does this resolve the problem?

64-bit Eclipse, where applicable.

When I have some time, I'll try with 32-bit.

Hi DaveToo

You wrote:

Is it working now? Did you find more informations about?

Hi
I use eclipse integration with the Indigo release, BUT you need the 32 bit version.
The user guide can be found at

Hope this helps
