Syntax error in shape scripts ignored

Many years ago I asked for EA to croak when closing a syntactically wrong shape script. And that got implemented (almost immediately). Those days...

Now, I wondered why my shape script did nothing. Until I noticed that I forgot a closing quote in a string. Would you mind to croak here too?

No bug report sent. Either you take this to your list or you don't. I'd prefer the first but suspect the latter.
