EA built-in SysML simulation dropped ?
« on: October 05, 2021, 11:36:39 pm »
Hi,

Reviewing SysML features in the current EA15.2 build, I noticed that I can no longer make SysML constraint simulations work.
This is odd as the menus are still available so I wonder if I'm doing anything wrong or if this obsolete.
I know that SysML simulation now works with OpenModelica and Simulink via SysMLSimConfigurations, however I find EA built-in simulation useful to show quick examples.

Setup process:
- Created a Multiply SysML constraint block with 3 properties: output, a, b + a constraint : output=a*b
- right click > SysML > Add Element Script > JScript and set it as output=a*b;
- Created a test block with 3 properties (in1, in2, out)
- Created a parametric diagram on the test block + dragged/dropped the Multiply block to create the constraint property +created Bound to links
- Right click in the diagram > SysML > Simulate Diagram...
-> nothing happens
