The elements of a model created from a pattern does not show

Hello, EA experts,

I am trying to create an Amazon AWS model from a pattern but for some reason, after I create the model, the elements does not show.
Few things I tried:
- Restarted the device
- Created the pattern with a new file (to eliminate the the file might be corrupt)
- Used a different machine that has EA
- Tried using a different pattern

I used the same exact pattern before and it was displayed correctly but I am nit sure what happened to prevent it from displaying this time!

Looks like you are missing the correct images library.

That might be it. Right click the element and look for the Alternate Image (somewhere under Appearance).

Thank you, Geert and qwerty. Is there a way to restore the images library?

It's weird. I have older versions (in separate files) of that model pattern and the images appears normally. I tried to export from the older project to the new project but surprisingly the images still disappearing after importing!

The only thing I did recently is that I installed a new Windows 10 on 2 machines, then installed EA 15.2. I am wondering whether the OS has anything to do with that.

Set perspective to AWS and you will find the images under 'Create from Pattern' on the Start Page

IIRC there is an option for the XMI export to include images that needs to be turned on. It's somewhere in EA's option jungle...

Thank you, KP. I tried that. I loaded the model from "Create from pattern" and it was loaded without images as shown in the screenshot.

When I set the perspective to AWS and tried to drag and element to the diagram, I got the shown error message.

That's one of the examples. You need to import "Amazon Web Services Images".
