Is there an <any> meta class
« on: March 05, 2022, 02:00:11 am »
In order to allow some connectors to be drawn towards any element I'm looking for a metaclass which prepresents any element. In the Config/Stereotypes there is the <any> drop down element for that purpose. But what about a profile definition so I can point a meta-relationship towards it?

Element is the superclass of all UML metaclasses. NamedElement is generally more practical. That's what Dependency etc use.

I'll try that later this day. Just as a thought: shouldn't they be listeded in the dialog of available metaclasses? (Not sitting in front of a Windoze so can't verify if they are not already in. But if so, they seem to be hidden.)

P.S. I see that they are under Abstract Metytypes. So the last remark is to be forgotten....

P.P.S. Seems that the NamedElement works as intended. So thanks for that!
