how to create a "System Actor" element in a Use Case diagram
« on: March 08, 2022, 05:49:37 am »
Hi,
How does one create a "system actor" element in a Use Case diagram - like the one that appears in the "Basic Use Case Model with System Actor" pattern? (Square element that says <<actor>> at the top)

Thanks!

Found it: right click > Advanced > Use rectangle notation

But here's what I'm not able to find:
I've set up my use case s.t., as in the pattern, the Actors and Use Cases are organized into packages called "Actors" and "Use Cases" that are at the same level as the diagram.
In my diagram, this causes the note "(from Actors)" and "(from Use Cases)" to appear underneath the Actors and Use Cases.
In the pre-packaged pattern, this does not appear.
How do I get it to go away?

Thanks!

Open the Diagram Properties dialog, go to the Diagram page, and clear the Show Namespace option
