Custom Metamodel Diagram View customizable?
« on: July 17, 2024, 11:35:33 pm »
EA 16.1.1628 (64bit) .QEAX database

I have created some customized diagrams according to https://sparxsystems.com/enterprise_architect_user_guide/16.1/modeling_frameworks/custommetamodelview.html.
Unfortunately I failed in customizing some of the diagrams Properties like
  • hiding all Compartments
  • hiding connectors stereotype labels
For now the user is responsible to setup these properties after having created a new diagram ==> Not the best approach!

Is there a better way?
What am I missing?

If you create your own diagram type in an MDG you can control these settings in the MDG.

An alternative might be to use the template package.
I think most of these type of settings will be copied from the model template package when creating a new diagram.
