Setting Watches on EA.AI in MS C#
« on: August 22, 2005, 11:50:47 pm »
Hi,

I can't seem to set a watch on any EA Automation Interface property.  I get "variable.Property is not valid."

Is this because it is a COM component?

Do I always need to copy the property to a local variable to "watch" it?

I just installed .769 and it's now throwing COM exceptions.  I don't think it's EA, but I can't tell since I can't see the values in the actual EA properties... ???

Help!

There is an answer on how to get around this and why it happens here:
