« on: February 27, 2010, 06:27:06 am »
Hello, I was download trial version EA 7.7 and install it on my working computer and begin work - create project, diagrams etc. On my working computer installed Windows XP SP2 Russian. On my home PC installed Windows 7 English. I was install on my home PC EA 7.5 also, but when I open project on home PC - all words on diagrams and in tree of project are not read. I was try change font for diagrams but this not done effect. When I open project file in Microsoft Access 2007 - also all words on cyrilic are not read - not understand coding. You can help me? May be this bug already fixed?  Thanx!

By default, the .EAP file format is a Microsoft Jet 3.5 (Access 97) database format.  For full support of Unicode text, you will need to use the Jet 4.0 (Access 2000) file format.

If you have Access 2000 or higher installed on your system, you can use this to upgrade your EAP file to Access 2000 format.  Otherwise, download a JET 4.0 base model and use this when creating new projects.  You can download a JET 4.0 base model from the following link:
http://www.sparxsystems.com/bin/EABase_JET4.zip

Make sure you enable JET 4.0 in EA under "Tools | Options".

Hi, have you managed to use cyrillic (russian) characters in the EA model finally? I've got the same problem under WinXP. I can write the russian words in but EA can't store and read them back correctly.
Thanks
