Search: Finding Information
Enterprise Architect has a powerful and easy to use search facility that helps you to find elements in a model, based on any criteria including name, the date of creation or modification, type, textual notes and more. There are a number of built in searches, but even a novice user can easily extend the functionality by defining powerful and parameterized searches that can be stored and rerun. When run, the searches return a set of elements that can be located within the hierarchy of the repository or in any diagrams in which they appear; they can even be included in reports. This powerful feature ensures that, regardless of the structure of the project browser or how large the repository is, you will always be able to locate the information you are looking for.
