Getting Started with MDG Technology for UPDM

To install the MDG Technology for UPDM, first close down any open instances of Enterprise Architect, then double-click the installer and follow the instructions in the installation wizard. Once the Technology has been installed, start Enterprise Architect; the Technology should be fully enabled and ready to use.

If you are reinstalling over a previous installation, the MDG Technology might not be enabled when you start Enterprise Architect. In this case:

• Select the 'Extensions | Manage Add-Ins' menu option and, on the 'Manage Add-Ins' dialog, select the 'Load on Startup' checkbox against UPDM 2.0; click on the OK button and restart Enterprise Architect

If that does not enable the Technology:

• Select the 'Extensions | MDG Technologies' menu option and, on the 'MDG Technologies' dialog, select the 'Enabled' checkbox against UPDM 2.0; click on the OK button and restart Enterprise Architect
