Simulate Menu

As you model and test software applications, you can execute complete Simulation sessions on the code.

Simulation Options

Simulator

Select this option to display the Simulation window and simulate the debugging of an application during the design of that application.

Simulation Events

Select this option to  manage the triggers and sets of events in a simulation, using the Simulation Events window.

Select Simulation

Select this option to display the 'Select Element' dialog, which you use to locate and select the Activity, Interaction or State Machine on which to perform the simulation.

 How It Works

Start Simulation

Select this option to begin the simulation on the selected model.

 Run Model Simulation

Pause-Resume Simulation

Select this option to pause and resume an executing simulation.

Stop Simulation

Select this option to stop the currently-executing simulation.

Step over the next statement

Select this option to step over a statement in the current model simulation, when the simulation is paused at that statement.

Step into the next statement

Select this option to step into a statement in the current model simulation, when the simulation is paused at that statement.

Step out of the current activity

Select this option to step out of an Activity in the current model simulation, when the simulation is paused in that Activity.
