Check Out a Model Branch
If you need to check out a number of related packages involved in a particular unit of work, to update the contents, you can do so in a single operation by checking out the whole model branch that contains them.
Access Project Browser | right-click root-node package | Package Control | Check Out Branch
Check out a sub-tree of model packages

The selected root-node package and all of its contained sub-packages are recursively checked out. Any packages that cannot be checked-out are listed in a message box, with a brief description of the problem; for example: The package is already checked out by user 'Fred'.

When Project Security is enabled in Lock to Edit mode, Enterprise Architect prompts you to apply a User Lock throughout the selected model branch before proceeding.
