General Tab

Name

Defaults to the name of the parent Package, as the name of the diagram.

If necessary, overtype the field with a different diagram name. You can change the diagram name in this field whenever necessary.

Author

Defaults to the name of the person who created the diagram.

If necessary, overtype the field with a different author name, or click on the drop-down arrow and select a name from the list. You might do this if the diagram becomes the responsibility of another person.

Version

Defaults to 1.0 as the version number of the diagram.

If necessary, overtype with a different version number. This is more likely as the diagram develops over time.

Stereotype

(Optional) Type in the name of a diagram stereotype to apply, or click on the drop-down arrow and select a stereotype from the list.

You can define stereotypes to select here using the Project | Settings | UML Types menu option, selecting the Stereotypes tab and creating stereotypes with a Base Class of Diagram.

Created

Automatically displays the date on which the diagram was created.

If necessary, overtype the field with an amended creation data, or click on the drop-down arrow and select the date.

Modified

Automatically displays the date and time when the diagram was last modified.

Notes

Type in any additional information on the diagram. You can format the notes using the Notes toolbar at the top of the field.

If you have finished updating the diagram properties, click on this button to save the changes and close the Properties dialog.

Cancel

If you do not want to save the changes you have made, click on this button to discard the changes and close the dialog.
