Keyboard-Mouse Shortcuts

The following table lists certain operations you can perform quickly using a combination of keyboard keys and the computer mouse.

Create element of same type as last created on diagram

[Ctrl]+click

Display element Properties dialog for element in scenario Context References tab

[Ctrl]+click

Select a number of individual objects for an operation

[Ctrl]+click each object

Select a range of objects for an operation

[Shift]+click the first and last object in the range

Move elements along horizontal axis or vertical axis

[Shift]+hold left mouse button and drag

Create bend in and change direction of connector line

[Shift]+hold left mouse button and drag

Move elements in any direction, including diagonally

[Alt]+hold left mouse button and drag

Zoom in or zoom out of diagram

[Ctrl]+mouse scroll wheel

Pan diagram horizontally or vertically

[Ctrl]+[Shift]+hold left mouse button and drag
