Generate Global Element
Enterprise Architect, by default, generates XML Schema in the Garden of Eden style. For every global XSDcomplexType stereotyped Class, Enterprise Architect generates a global element. For example, the following model by default generates the XSD shown:
You can change this default behaviour by deselecting the Generate global element for all global ComplexTypes checkbox on the Generate XML Schema dialog. Then, the generated XSD no longer contains the global element, as shown below:
