Usage

Enterprise Architect provides a Windows-like word processor to help you edit Linked Documents. This is the same as the RTF Style Template Editor, and it provides the same convenient features.

You can format and edit the document in a number of ways, and add links from and references to the content of the document.

For example, you can highlight a word or term in the linked document and select Create | Glossary Definition to create a glossary definition for that term. Anyone reading the document can, if they check for the term in the Project Glossary, read the definition.

Toolbars

The Linked Document Editor has two toolbars of standard icons that also enable you to create, save, print and edit your linked documents. These toolbars display immediately above the editing window.

You can toggle the display of these toolbars by clicking on the Show/Hide Linked Document toolbar icon (third from the right) in the View header bar.
