In setting up your Package structures, you can make use of a wide range of facilities to create, manage and work on the Packages in your model.

Display the elements of the current Package as a context-sensitive, editable table, in the Package Browser.

List all the elements in the current Package, grouped by model hierarchy, showing the percent-completion of all tasks associated with each element with the work timeline for each element and for each resource assigned to work on the element.

View as Requirement List
|
Display the Specification Manager, a document-based interface to a selected Package in the model, providing the means of creating and reviewing elements as text representations of objects in the Project Browser.

Baselines |
Store a model branch as a snapshot or baseline of the branch content at a given time. Available in the Corporate, Business and Software Engineering, Systems Engineering and Ultimate editions.

Documentation |
Generate document and web reports on your model, using options on the Documentation submenu.

Code Engineering |
Import source code files, binary modules, source directories and resource files, and generate code on the selected Package, using options on the Code Engineering submenu.

Import database schema or generate DDL for a Package, using options on the Database Engineering submenu.

XML Technologies |
Import or generate W3C XML Schema (XSD) files and Web Service Definition Language (WSDL) files, using the XML Technologies submenu.

Export a Package to any of a range of XML formats, using the Publish Model Package dialog.

Import/Export |
Import model content from, and export content to, XMI and CSV files, using options on the Import/Export submenu.

Model Transformation (MDA) |
