Configure File Associations
If you are a Windows® user, you can access the Windows® Set Program Associations applet within Enterprise Architect to set the system as the default program for opening your programming language source files.

Actions
For each file type that you want to open in Enterprise Architect, click on the checkbox to the left of the file type name. After selecting all the file types you require, click on the Save button.
When you have done this, each time you select a file of one of the associated types from Windows® Explorer the file is opened in:
| · | The currently-running instance of Enterprise Architect, or |
| · | If Enterprise Architect is not running, an automatically-launched instance of the system |
Notes
| · | You can also set Enterprise Architect as the default program in the Set Program Associations applet directly through the Windows® Control panel |
