Add a Port to an Element

Click on the Port symbol in the Composite Elements page of the Toolbox, and drag the symbol to (or click on) the target host element

This creates an untyped, simple Port on the boundary, near the cursor position

On the context menu of a suitable Class, Part or Composite element, select the Embedded Elements | Add Port menu option to add a new Port at the cursor position

Drag a suitable classifier from the Project Browser onto a Class or Part

Enterprise Architect prompts you to add a typed Port or Part at the cursor position

The new Port is typed by the original dragged classifier

Use the Embedded Elements window to add a new Port to the currently selected element
