This Guide is intended to supplement and support your initial contact with Enterprise Architect, and covers the more important concepts and behaviors that are critical to getting the most out of the tool.
Here is an overview of the Guide and its intended purpose:
- Part 1 is a brief introduction to some important concepts concerning the tool, its repository based modeling and the general function of the user interface
- Part 2 will step you through starting up Enterprise Architect, finding the most common and necessary controls and windows, and learning how to customize the user interface
- Part 3 will walk through creating a new model, setting a Perspective and using pattern-based model fragments to fast track model construction
- Part 4 is a collection of 'where to next' suggested links to other material that will enhance and enrich your Trial experience, depending on your personal requirements
