Enterprise Architect 9.0 on Mac with Crossover
« on: March 28, 2012, 05:47:46 pm »
If EA Ultimate seems to work well on Mac with CrossOver, the installation of MDG Technology (witch one? Zachman, Togaf, SysML, UPDM) break its exécution. Is anyone knows witch MDG Technology is not compatible on Mac with CrossOver? Thanks :(

I'm not sure about Zachman but TOGAF installs DLLs.  The others don't to my knowledge.  I'd start there.

Just use Parallels. For the few windoze apps I use it and it works like a breeze. In coherence mode you even mimic Mac-feeling for them - almost...

TOGAF, UPDM and ZACHMAN MDG technology install DLL. So one (or more) of those is not compatible with CrossOver. The use of crossover is to not emulate a windows plateforme but just the environnement for EA and associated MDG Technology. "Parrallel " works well but is a windows emulator.
Otherwise we avec also problems on Debian with WINE, especially with ODBC driver. Has somebody the same problems?
