Layout does not honour line styles
« on: May 14, 2012, 01:12:10 pm »
We have all see (I guess) how EA changes the line style from irect to Custom line when you ask it to layout a diagram.

It principally does this to accommodate things such as multiple relationships between two object and other such graphical (rendering) requirements.  These situations are understandable and reasonable - I guess.

However, it also seems to reset (some - but interestingly not all) Generalizations to Tree-Style - regardless of the line style I have set!

Before I report the bug, is anybody else seeing this?

TIA,
Paolo

I have never seen auto-layout change the line style of Generalizations. I use layout quite often. Maybe you have some automation active doing that magic (I had a similar case...).

That's what I thought, but I don't think it's me...  (Though I am doing automationhere - that's how I spotted it)

I'll do some more checking...
