Problems in Round-Trip
« on: August 01, 2006, 07:18:31 am »
--- the first one is: ---

I generated the code for Java and saved the files in my
personal folder e.g. "C:\Documents and
Settings\diego\Desktop\Teste Sync" and made a synchronization
with the code and them another member of my Development team
also tried to make a synchronization, but it did not worked,
maybe because of the path that is configured for my computer.

Is there any way to make this path compatible for both users?
Or the Enterprise Architect uses an absolute path for itself?
Is there any way for the Enterprise Architect ask for a directory?

the second one is:
I created three classes in my project, for e.g. Class1,
agregateClass1, composeClass1.

the class1 has an agregation with agregateClass1 and a
composition with composeClass1. After generating the source
code and synchronize with the code, the Enterprise Architect
came up with one unidirection association for agregateClass1
and composeClass1. why is this thing happens?

The Local Paths feature of EA is designed for the situation described in your first question.  For information on local paths please see http://www.sparxsystems.com/EAUserGuide/index.html?localpaths.htm.

Regarding your second questions, it appears as though EA was not able to recognise the two original connectors when reverse engineering.  However, without seeing your model I couldn't say why this is the case.   If you would like to send your model in as a sample we can investigate this problem further.
