Generate Documentation

Followed the "Working with the RTF Generator" document by Dermot O'Bryan. I cannot get the New Document Template dialog window to display when selecting the <New Template> option from the Use Template drop down menu.
The window displayed he first time I selected it but cannot get this to happen again.
Can anyone help?

What edition of EA are you using? If you have Corporate or above, and User Security is on, you need Configure Resources access permission to create a template.  Do you have this access permission?

I can create a template. I have the permissions but the new template window will not display.

There are two other ways to access the New Templates dialog.  On the Generate Documentation dialog, select the Templates tab and click on the New button. OR select to edit an existing custom template and click on the first (New Template) icon in the upper toolbar of the Template Editor screen.

Do either of those work for you? I have been churning out new templates in all directions, and in each case the New Template dialog displays for me. How are you creating new templates without displaying the New Template dialog? Perhaps you could describe what you are doing in baby steps?
