Status colour of stored procedure
« on: July 07, 2012, 01:10:44 am »
I can't see how to change the status (and hence the colour) of a stored procedure: the properties dialogue box simply shows the code of the procedure.  Nor is it possible to change the colour option entirely in Settings, as it is with other elements.

Or am I missing something?

Thanks for your help.

A stored procedure is a method of a class, right? Methods do not have a status. Only first class elements like classes.

A stored procedure can be represented as a method of class.  However, I am using the 'Stored Procedure' element, which essentially shows each stored procedure as its own class.

Ah, I see. Unfortunately I don't know that. Pass to someone else...

P.S. I suppose this is based on some profile. In that case you must ask the profile provider to implement the status color. This is some extra work you need to do.

Actually it's part of EA.

Thanks for your help.

"Part of EA" does not mean it's native. Most elements are derived from a profile. However, your bug report needs to go to Sparx directly.
